I want to monitor a Global Cache IR port for incoming IR. Each time a button on the remote is pressed, it generates a slightly different stream of hex bytes. How can the incoming IR be matched against a predefined database of codes to listen for, with some fuzziness so it can detect strings that are similar but not the same byte for byte?
